Everyday objects around me reveal lines vs patterns:
floors/doors/boards/tile; zinnia petals/stems; bottles/shells;
cookie jar/diamond shapes; cookie jar/shell jar/little jar;
soybean field with the soft texture of leaves/horizon/trees/fences;
corn field/sky; tree stump/wood shavings/bug and worm traces/age lines;
winter forest/fence/bare trees/coyote; watergarden plant/soft pattern/spiny leaves.
This is such a good challenge, I’m seeing so many lovely shots 🙂
Thanks! 🙂 I am too!

I like the plant that looks like a christmas tree, or is it?
No, it’s not a christmas tree 🙂 It’s a water garden plant.
It does look like it, eh?
I guess it does. It’s beautiful when growing happily and would make a lovely substitute I think.
It’s called ‘parrots feather’ or microphyllum aquaticum in fancy words. At http://www.pondmegastore.com it’s pretty cheap on sale at $3.35 each.
Love the tree trunk 🙂
